As we close the 2025 season, we want to thank our community, vendors, performers, partners, and visitors for an incredible year at the Shipyards Christmas Market.
This season saw record attendance across our 81,000 sq ft waterfront site, with an estimated 500,000 visitors moving through the Shipyards District.
We are now closed for the season!
The Shipyards Christmas Market is a delightful holiday experience. Weave your way through the sparkling lights and aisles of 100+ wooden stalls selling unique artisanal gifts. Enjoy festive music, skate on the ice rink, admire the City’s Christmas tree, visit Santa's chalet, appreciate community entertainment, and indulging in seasonal treats like bratwursts, mulled wine and hot cocoa. Over 140 vendors bring the finest European cuisine and greatest gifts to the City of North Vancouver.

We are conveniently located near the Seabus and bus routes. The market was open during the following hours in 2025:
November 28 – 11:00 to 22:00
November 29 – December 21
Sunday to Thursday – 11:00 to 21:00
Friday to Saturday – 11:00 to 22:00
December 22 and 23 – 11:00 to 22:00
December 24 – 11:00 to 20:00

This year, we are making the Shipyards Christmas Market more welcoming for neurodiverse guests. In partnership with the Vancouver’s North Shore Tourism Association (VNSTA), we’re introducing a small initiative at the Information Booth to support sensory-friendly experiences.
Visitors will find free ear plugs for adults, child-sized headsets available to borrow, and a festive-themed welcome pack with a few thoughtful items designed to help neurodiverse guests enjoy the market comfortably.

The mission of the Shipyards Christmas Markets is to allow everyone to partake in Christmas activities, regardless of income or social status, by providing free admission to the festivities.
