The Shipyards Christmas Market is a public event proudly organized and financed by Parfait Productions Inc. and its sponsors. Please note that it is not affiliated with or organized by the City of North Vancouver. For any questions or comments, please contact us directly.
Is the market wheelchair accessible?
Our Christmas Market at The Shipyards is fully wheelchair accessible! This includes all areas of the site and washroom facilities, ensuring everyone can enjoy the festive experience comfortably.
Are pets allowed at the market?
Good news for pet lovers! Our Christmas Market at The Shipyards is pet friendly. Bring your furry friends along to enjoy the holiday festivities with the whole family.
Where can I find parking, or should I take public transport?
You can find information about all parking locations surrounding the market on our website. However, we recommend using public transportation to visit our market, as we are only a 12-minute Seabus ride from downtown which is conveniently accessible via the Canada Line, SkyTrain, and the West Coast Express. We are located next to a bus station.
Will Santa be there?
Santa will be present at the market daily, either in his specially designed chalet or walking throughout the area. There is no fee to meet Santa and capture family photos.
What forms of payment do vendors accept at the market?
Vendors accept Credit Card and Cash.
What are the opening hours?
Our hours are 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM during the week, and 11:00 AM to 10:00 PM on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
When is the best day and time to visit the Shipyards Christmas Market?
Weekdays tend to be a little less bustling than weekends, especially in the morning and early afternoon.
Will there be mulled wine, apple cider, and beer?
Get into the holiday spirit at our Christmas Market! Enjoy a warm cup of mulled wine, spiced apple cider, or a refreshing beer as you explore the festive atmosphere. Cheers to the season!
Why are there so many Hot Chocolate vendors?
Calling all hot chocolate lovers! Our Christmas Market features several amazing hot chocolate vendors. Don’t forget to grab your Hot Chocolate Passport—collect stamps from each vendor for a chance to win an incredible $1,200 staycation package. Sip, savor, and win!
Do you have a lost and found?
Lost something? Our Lost and Found is located at the Information Booth, right at the center of the market in front of Tap & Barrel. Stop by, and we’ll help you out!
Where are the washrooms located?
Public facilities are available at the ice rink, Lonsdale Quay, and the Pipe Shop (if a public event is taking place there). We’ve got you covered!
Are there any hotels nearby?
Visitors who would like to stay overnight can visit the Seaside Hotel, the Pinnacle Hotel at the Pier, or the Lonsdale Quay Hotel. Some have special Christmas Market packages available.
Will the market be open under bad weather conditions?
Our Christmas Market will always remain open unless conditions become unsafe for the public or our vendors. In case of severe weather, please check our website and social media for the latest updates. Your safety is our top priority.
What charities are you supporting?
We proudly support Santa’s Recycling for Charity, the Salvation Army, and the North Shore Foodbank. Join us in spreading holiday cheer by contributing to these wonderful causes during your visit to the market.
Is there a dress code?
Get into the holiday spirit with our festive dress code! We highly encourage wearing your Santa hats, ugly Christmas sweaters, or any cheerful attire that spreads Christmas joy. Show off your holiday style and share the magic with everyone at the market.
How do I become a sponsor?
Contact us using the contact form on this website. We love our sponsors, as they help us offer free admission to the market. While the event may have already started, we’re still welcoming new sponsors. You can have your branding showcased through our social media and printed materials.
